Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple
After reaching Mathura, the first visit is to Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple, believed to be the birthplace of Lord Krishna.
The temple complex includes several shrines and security procedures are strict, so visitors should expect some waiting time during busy days.
Dwarkadhish Temple
Next visit Dwarkadhish Temple, one of the most prominent temples in Mathura known for its detailed architecture and festive atmosphere.
During festivals like Janmashtami and Holi, the temple becomes extremely vibrant.
Vishram Ghat
A short visit to Vishram Ghat, located on the banks of the Yamuna River.
According to tradition, this is the place where Lord Krishna rested after defeating Kansa.
Gokul Sightseeing
In the afternoon, continue toward Gokul, about 15 km from Mathura.
Important places visited here include:
Raman Reti – a sacred sand area associated with Krishna’s childhood pastimes
Chinta Haran Temple – a temple believed to remove worries of devotees
Gokul Nath Ji Temple – an important temple in the Vallabh Sampradaya tradition
Return to Mathura
After completing the visits, return to the hotel in Mathura.
