Keshi Ghat is the main ghat of Vrindavan on the Yamuna, the stone riverfront where the town meets its sacred river. It takes its name from Keshi, a demon in the form of a wild horse sent by Kansa to kill the young Krishna, whom Krishna defeated at this spot on the riverbank and the ghat has carried the name ever since.
